Oh, I thought that was a design feature. I'm too used to road bikes with a few extra curves.

Fortunately Next uses an aluminum/steel hybrid frame, so a little hammering, and it is as good as new

Unfortunately, I think the Schwinn is a 700c bike, and the Next 26", so one can't take two bikes and make one... at least in theory. I've seen a few thrift-store specials with odd wheel sizes.

Perhaps the unicycle (umm "unicyle") was too tall to get into a single photo.

However, you should be happy that the bike has "no leeks"


Now, if the seller could only figure out how to spell Giraffe, perhaps someone might even be able to pick the unicycle up with a search. (spelled both geraffe and jeraffe)

For sale is an awesome late 80s Serotta road bicycle for someone in the 5'9" to 6'2" height range. This ride is a real head-turner, gets complements all the time with its black-fading-to-gray paint job. It's in great shape for its age.

Shimano Dura-Ace all over: DA headset, brakes, shifters, derailleurs, cranks. Wheels are Dura-Ace hubs laced to Mavic Open rims. Continental Gatorskin tires. Sweet pantographed 3ttt stem with "SEROTTA" etched into it. Comes with a WTB saddle, Shimano clip-in pedals, and an Elite bottle cage.

I've set it up with Nitto upright handlebars, but I'll include the original Dura Ace brakes if you want to change up the handlebars to the standard drop style.

That looks to be in very nice shape. Full Dura-Ace, frame looks to be in excellent condition. The only thing it does appear to need is a proper set of bars. I'm going to suggest that either:

• The seller has grown older and needs a more upright position
• The seller has been using this as an extremely nice commuter or around town bike and found upright bars improved comfort/vision

I agree - this Serotta actually belongs in the other Craigslist thread - the seller is too knowledgeable - and is cognizant of the likelihood that the buyer will want drop bars - for this to have been a total no-brain conversion.

Apparently this bike has a GUN Rack on the handlebars. Which would also be an interesting feature, if one only had a good photo of it.

I think this is the BEST photo of the handlebar rack.

It is easy enough to replace a rim, and perhaps the spokes, which I would consider to be a "repair". However, that isn't one I would choose to do.

That would be one heck of an engineering feet if it works. However, judging from the seat tube length, it might be quite a stretch to get to both the pedals and handlebars. Where are the brake levers and shifters?

Not Craig's list, but a second-hand store. Laughed so hard at the full-suspension MTB with a huge wire basket - also has a dog leash connection to the seat post. And they were asking $500 for this big-box store bike - I bet it sold new for $299. OH! Almost forgot the kickstand that is 4 inches too short.
