Light blue 21 speed 1978 Schwinn ladies' bicycle. Drop down handle bars. Spent $200 on tune up and repairs upon first receiving bicycle (including new fork), but is currently damaged from a road accident (photos taken prior). Frame and wheels in need of repair. Needs new tubes/tires.
Ahh... Found it.
vintage Schwinn road racer

I find it amazing that he didn't bother to take some recent photos. AFTER THE ACCIDENT; and not too good of a description of every part that was damaged.
Is the $200 tune-up on a wrecked bike supposed to mean anything?

If it was anything other than a 35 year old Schwinn, it is quite possible that it would have $120 worth of parts on it.
Crankset, bottom bracket, shifters, brakes, etc. A bit of work to tear it down and clean it up. However, with that bike, I'm doubting he could part out the major components for $50, assuming no damage from the wreck.

There's not a lot to salvage from this: alloy cranks, brake levers, that's about it

You can salvage anything.
Throw it up on E-Bay.
Somebody will be looking to restore a Schwinn and choose bottom of the line components to do it.
The cage pedals might not fetch more than $1 (if in good condition), but they will sell.

A lot depends on what is damaged and how bad it is. The "new" fork might fetch $5 or $10 if in good shape. Nothing if bent.

Anyway, no matter how one ads it up, it comes to a lot less than $120 unless one compares it to new bike shop prices.

Perhaps there is a $200 seat hidden under the flaming sweatpants

One man's junk is another man's treasure.

That appears to be a Kawasaki BX200 (or BX100) from 1974 to 1976.
1974-76 Kawasaki BMX Bikes - BMX Old School @ BMX Non Stop!

As far as I can tell, made right here in the good old USA.

It is hard for me to call a bike like that "Good Condition", it looks ROUGH to me. But, one could rebuild the wheels, and a bit of cleaning and rust removal, and it could be ridable again.

Here's one on E-Bay.
Kawasaki BMX Bike Moto BX200 BX100 Webco Mongoose Moto Mag FMF Frame Old School | eBay

Anyway, I can't get too excited about a rusty old BMX bike, but it may well be worth a few hundred.

This one is from the same outfit that is listing a Univega Supra Sport for only $650! Can't believe that one is still available!

The key sentence in this ad is, "Notes: This bike is currently disassembled, but can be built back up before sale."

Well, it might be worth someone's time, at a price of $50 at most...

58cm Schwinn Tempo - Columbus Tenax/Full 105 - Restored - $525 (East Falls)
Odd..
What does disassembled mean?
Wheels off?
Pile of pieces?

I can't imagine anybody would fully build a bike.
Photograph it for sale.
Then unbuild it.

Unless... say a few thousand miles and a few years transpired between the two.

The ad seems to indicate that it will be reassembled for sale.

Maybe they just assume nobody is crazy enough to pay $525 for a $100 bike, but they thought they'd throw it up anyway.

36 speed Rhoades peddle car $600

Probably not too bad of a deal on the Rhoades pedal car, if that is what one really wants to ride. It might be nice for whizzing around the block, but not out on the open road. Rentals?

Are the photos really all 2 years old?

It still makes no sense. I have no intent to attempt to understand the sad and lonely "message" he attempted to send by knowingly turning a $100+ bike into $3 in scrap and referring to everyone that didn't buy his bike as fornicators and *****exuals and female genitalia and blaming politics for his dear old mother not being able to afford a camera battery. "You don't know who the **** your dealing with." Apparently NO ONE dealt with you.

"Move to greener pastures on the dole maybe buy a $1 house in Detroit, acquire a schmaltzy female to loose my virginity (by 40) & finally live the american dream! Need I say more..."

Money is is on him not losing his virginity by 40. Unless he sells his "bike" for the asking price and pays for it.

Agreed. Does eBay not have a way to report a seller? Just specific auctions?

I'm not sure. Is it against Ebay's rules to clog like that?

Maybe not technically, but I don't know. It's annoying as hell to have to wade through that stuff. Thankfully, none of my saved searches overlap with their products.
