Are those front brakes out of adjustment?

Unfortunately, it is one of those things that if it was new, it would be a $1500 bike. But, it is 30 or 40 years old. Perhaps as good as new, but using old style brake calipers, old style generator, cranks, rack, rims, just about everything on it is obsolete.

Are those new pedals?
The brake levers also appear to be modernized, with mismatched cable housing.

All this is true, but just think, you could ride that bike in a dress. Imagine the possibilities. Doesn't that count for something?

I seem to have misplaced my bagpipes, so I don't find myself needing to ride the bike in a dress very frequently.

That bike is missing the skirt guards. It doesn't even have a full chainguard.

Interesting bike.
I wonder if that was one of the Burning Man bike that didn't end up in the trash heap.

Positron--gotta count for something, right???

I think I'll stick to the four-wheeled Trans-Am. Those are pretty cool.

no discounts - so seller has already taken bent top tube into consideration for pricing?

Well, almost showroom condition. A little turtle wax might help I think the seller intended that comment as a joke.

Are both wheels 24"?

Yes, this guy is local and really brings down the sales out here. By the way, I think that's a Park tool hammer...

Some of these BMX bikes are a bit surprising in value. But, I'm not sure about this one.

Odd drilled out seat tube.

That fork just doesn't look like it goes with the bike

The "premium condition" he mentions must include the numerous scratches and peeling paint. "Special order" must include the gum hoods delete option and the other various upgrades from stock.

Raleigh racing bike (rare) - $1200

4531 centralia rd

Very rare Raleigh racing bike in premium condition. Made in USA in 1983. This racing bike was a special order and is in immaculate condition. 23.5 inch and was recently tuned by Molly's bike shop in Chester va. A lot of chrome really makes this bike stand out. 555SS double butted frame is very unique.
Shimano derailer. Asking 1200.00 call show contact info
