I'd be surprised if it wasn't. I don't mean to be quick to judge, but you'd think if you were trying to make $1500 you'd get one decent picture at least. Almost like he doesn't want the person he stole it from to recognize it maybe?

A $200 Schwinn 5 speed...
A few highlights.
Original Paint (Burgundy) although there is plenty of rust
Original Wheel Rims and Spokes (cones are shot in rear wheel)
Original Hand Brake Levers (right one is partially bent but both work)
This bike was purchased for me in 1972 and used during Hurricaine Agnes in Pennsylvania.
(NOTE: Hurricane Agnes was responsible for the worst recorded flooding in the history of the area).
And all this for only 3 times what the bike cost new...

This one isn't vintage but it is a Nishiki. You could have the pleasure of paying $225 above the MSRP for a 10 year old hybrid.

Lakeland, Florida:
I am looking for someone who has a road bike they are not using and don't need to profit from it. I am a father of 3 who works full time and is starting college this summer. Their mom has a van for when we all go out but she works also. I have a scooter but the transmission went out and will take months to get parts for it. I will take the bus when I can but it does not ride during times I need so I need a bike that will go 20 miles when needed. I am not looking for anything for free. I am not an experienced rider. I just need something that will not fall apart on me. Thanks so much for your time.

May not be classic or vintage but an interesting CL find just the same. Not the touring Trek I was looking for.

Lejeune on eBay
Gotta wonder about this guy. Claims he is the original owner, yet does not know what the frame material is...or maybe it was a typo. Kind of doubt it based on the way it is all worded. FWIW, I doubt it is a 60s bike. The block lettering, at least AFAIK, did not appear until early 70s.
