CA, Cupertino Bike Swap!
Did anyone go? Find any good deals?
I was able to snag;
Stronglight A9 headset (I think it is) - $11
Brooklyn Jersey - $10
Cool two prong bike stand = $5
White water bottle - Free
Had a good time and was pretty packed. I saw some really nice stuff, but wasn't knowledgeable to make a educated purchase. Anyone else?

I love bike swaps!
Ours was last week, I got a pair of Mafac brakes, a wheel w/MA2 rim, and a Craftsman socket and ratchet set.
Plus, I get to talk to my former LBS co-worker.

Picked up some french pedals and a cottered Stronglight crank for one of my builds. And a 26.8 seatpost for another. Cupertino is one of the best swaps around here.

there was a TA 3-pin crank, with 52/42 rings...but no LH arm. It was with a bunch of "orphan" crankarms, the only French one in the box. I had a few good buys, but was there looking for some very specific parts for friends, and couldn't get much to mark off the list, but I saw a few really good deals go down (for the buyers). A pretty good day and a good swap in any case. Prices ranged from the ridiculous ($80 for a black turbo saddle, used, good condition...but... $80?!) to the sublime: $1 for a Park CP1 cranktool, the old one with both standard and 23mm (TA) threads they don't make anymore...and i bought that one

Yea there was some really good deals I saw people get.
$15 turbo saddle, lots of campy bits (Centaur crankset was abundant). I should've bought some more jerseys and try clipless pedals/shoes since they were so cheap. I hope we have more swaps coming up for the bay area.

I was kind of looking for a road frame but didn't find anything. But I got a few things: like new shimano m520 pedals $15, pair of cyclocross tires $30, a hat, three pairs of defeet socks, couple of water bottles, etc.
I really should have bought that powertap set up - if anyone saw that and knows the people who had it for sale, please let me know. It was the guys/gals that also had a cannondale and a redline cross bike for sale - down the row on the left as you walked in.
