I have the original SR Laprade seatpost from my 1989 D.S. in my hand and it is stamped 27.2. If you need it, let me know. I can probably ship it up to Wylie fairly quickly.

Thanks for the offer CK. I have a Ritchy Pro Logic so I have one for the build. The only use I could see if if I ever wanted to take it back to it's original state.

I'm gonna have to take the frame into the LBS for a reaming. Someone used a 27.0 and overtightened the clamp to make it work.

Strange. I've got a DS Ironman Master (teal/white) and I've got a 27.0 SR Laprade seatpost. Perhaps I have been over tightening the bolt these past (almost) 20 years since I've owned it. Yikes!
