Check out my Paramount Track Frankenbike
Thanks for much from this forum in identifying this bike and helping me figure out my Campy BB bearing wierdness on this bike. It said Paramount all over it and had what appeared to be full real Paramount livery, decals, etc,. but was really beat. So I sandblasted it and repainted it and here it is! According to forum responses and casual research on my part, It is most likely a Sieber track bike from the early 'sixties. Campy dates read Brev.63 wherever I found them. I hope the photo file loads. --Andy PS colors are 1952 GM truck color "sand" and 1964 Volkswagen microbus "cucumber". I paint cars for a hobby and shot this frame in DuPont Centari oddball paint. How does it look?? Aren't the proportions beautiful?? Look down 2 posts for link. Also, after sandblasing I noticed some faint stampings on the bottom bracket. It says SWISS MADEN (sic) and two crosses flanking the letters GF. Like this + GF + Anyone know what this may mean?

Looks nice; don't think its a Paramount. Handlebar position looks strange for a track bike...

I like the color scheme looks quite nice! Interesting bit about the faint stamp... Hopefully someone can shed some light on that.

Right on, it looks really good, but if you don't put some plugs in those bars, and maybe some tape, the holes in your legs from impaling will make you wish I just said the mean things instead.
I'm actually just being nice in a backwards way, take this whole statement and sugarcoat it and you'll see what I mean.
It came out great, the saddle works really well.

I am pretty sure, I think I know Andy well, that the bike is not complete yet. In fact...I think I know who he stole those bars from!
