Help with year model - Colnago Master Olympic

Hey from Australia.

I recently received this nice Colnago from Germany but i'm not 100% sure on the year, i'm assuming by the 8 speed Campy ergo that it's early 90's? There's a guy on local Ebay with the same bike claiming it's a Mapei replica but i have doubts going by my breif googling.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think that only applies to the ones marketed in the USA. I just received one to my surprise as I was expecting an MX Leader instead of the Colnago. The one I got has the ST extending past the TT unlike most of of the Master Olympics I've seen. Pics will be posted soon.

I tend to agree with you re the Mapei paint scheme. Initially I thought it was a Mapei replica but on reflection, I think the Mapei paint scheme had pinky coloured cubes 'floating' on the blue background.
