    Resurgens veli

My Team fuji has been resurrected! I thought the C and Vers would appreciate this more than the hipsters over at SS/FG since it freewheels, has two brakes, and all the braze ons are unharmed. After a year long hiatus, I finally got around to rebuilding it. This time around its a singlespeed. I simply filed down the crank bolts and took out one ring on the bontrager crank which was on there before, which I am assuming the previous owner replaced. Its mostly for relaxed cruising, so the stem is high and I am using a 41 X 20 drivetrain. All said, the bike weighs in at 21.5 lbs. The stem is a modern Nitto Technomic and the bars are vintage nitto olympiads. The bar and stem combo weigh less than a set of steel bars I have on hand. Enjoy.

I know you have hills there, but 41-20?? Your legs will rip out of their sockets going down hills.
The search for inner peace continues...

Hipster... But that is not necessarily a bad thing.

It looks like it would be fun to ride... I just love the ability to shift too much to do something like that myself. I would at least make it a 3 speed.

yeah its not a fixed gear, so I just coast down the hills. Its not my primary bike so I just cruise around 10-15 mph on it, usually just to the pool or fishing pond in my neighborhood. You might notice if you look closely that the levers are reversed (front right, rear left). This is my first time experimenting with this but i dont know if I like it. I have a 48 t ring that I might switch on there when im riding, but the short gearing is for my girlfriend and father's legs
