Mizutani Seraph

Hello,

Anyone have any info on Mizutani Seraphs?

I'm interested in this one from CL : http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/1183924247.html

I've googled to the bottom of the internet and come up with not much. I see that there were "spree" and "super" seraphs, and some were considered very nice bikes in the day.

Anyone know how to ID this one, or what I should look for?

For the record, I've got an 80's miyata 110 with upgraded wheels. It's a good solid ride - but a geekier bike would be, well, geekier if you know what I mean. I've got vintage shimano 600 headset and crank and new wheels to put on a decent frame - is a Seraph worth a ****?

Those are beautiful bikes... Is he selling the entire lot for $175? He also like to display the bike from the left side

I posted a thread about the Mizutani (below) a while back and in searching for it I noticed quite a few threads...

What's a Mizutani?

i have the super seraph where that one looks like the spree but there is nothing wrong with that. the frame is made with ishiwata tubing and mine feels solid (though a bit large for me). i say if it fits you and you like the price go for it,and sell me the head badge.

here is mine:

edit: here is a link to another mizutani thread: My Mizutani Super Seraph
