Info on this Tommasini?

I snatched this beauty on CL. It's a Tommasini Sintesi, with stickers that say "Handbuilt by Colorado Cycles." I did enough research to know that Tommasini makes nice frames, and the lugs are gorgeous. Anyone have any more info? Year?

Wow ! I like Columbus Neuron tubing and the bike is just gorgeous although it would be even more so with Campagnolø Record instead of Shimano.

Agreed. The Ultegra on it now has some life in it and I'll ride them into the ground before rebuilding Campy. It will take me at least that long to save up for it anyway!

Interesting sticker "Handbuilt by Colorado Cycles." - considering they never handbuilt any of our frames, "Tommasini" builds them - colorado cyclist only sold them at one point. I'll try to get more exact info for you. I responded to your PM already

This frame model has been in production since 1995... If the frame was assembled by Colorado Cyclist the production year should be around 1999. If you get me a photo of the BB with the serial number I can try to give you a more specific date.

It's definitely '99 or earlier. The Sintesi's Colorado Cyclist sold from 2000 on all had threadless forks. I know because that's when I bought mine from them. Great little bike btw.

It is a great ride. It's got the original Ultegra grouppo on it, which works OK. I'm saving up to rebuild it Campy. And I've been looking for a nice Cinelli stem and bar set to replace the gross ones that are on it now. It's going to look CLASSY...
