1980 Olmo Grand Prix value
A co-worker has a 1980 Olmo Grand Prix that I'd like to purchase either to ride vintage or build to a singlespeed, and I'm looking for input on the value. It was ridden and raced for 3 years, then hung up inside for the last 25 years. Paint is nice just a few scratches, decals are in decent shape, no rust, components are all in nice condition other than the brake lever hoods where the rubber has dried out and has lots of little cracks.
Tubing - Falck - slightly metallic grey paint, yellow Olmo decals
Dropouts - Gipiemme
Hubs - Rino
Derailleurs/shifters - Campy Neuvo Record, pat. 1976
Brakes - Modolo Sporting (a bit weird, I thought they weren't released until 1982, but he says he bought in 1980)
Saddle - San Marco Corsaire 313
Stem and bar - 3TTT with Olympic rings etched in beside the logo
Crank and peddles - Ofmega, can't find a model number
Wheels - decal that says Record Serie Professionale HD 120

Need to move this to the value sub-forum.
Has he come up with a price? Remember, he who mentions price first loses. You might get it cheaper than you think.
