Identity?
Hey all, I've been working on my Mystery Frame and figured I'd post what I found in hopes someone may recognize what I haxe. On the steering head, seat tube and forks there is the letters RRB in a circle, On the down tube the same letters are there followed by a word I can't make out. It looks like the first letter is a G or C and the fouth is possibly a lower case L, or maybe a lower case d, b, or t. The BB shell is Cinelli, The dropouts are Campy and it has Super Record Crank and FD. I'll post some pics, but there not very good. The frame is Lugged steel and is very light, When I tap the tubes with a fingernail, it makes a higher saound that the ChroMo on my Giant, and they seem thinner. Reynolds, Columbus? Any help would be appreciated, I heard there was a builder in Chicago that went by RRB, but I haven't found anything on him.

Thanks, the logo looks right. I sent them an e-mail to see if I can get year and materials. I think it's mid '80s Reynolds, but I'm wrong all the time!!

Congratulations on a possible ID for your frame.
I follow these mystery bike threads in hope of learning something that will help with mine. Next step is to put it on a milk carton.

RRB is Ron Boi who has a couple stores, one in Kenilworth, IL and one in Lake Geneva, WI. Hes opened other stores but I'm not sure if they are still around. His frames are beautiful. You have a real prize there if its one of Rons frames. He also had some imported and put his name on them. They are OK too, but a real RRB built frame is a treasure for sure.
