Getting a Gazelle headbadge?

Ubiquitous make as it may be, I'm unilingual and in the US!

Any tips on scouting out a headbadge for my glorious Gazelle? I need a metal one, not a sticker!

Hey all. It's been a while. I'll echo the original poster's query. Anyone know where I can get a metal Gazelle headbadge? Or does anybody have one that they're willing to part with? Thanks in advance, and have a great week everyone. -- Z.

Woohoo!! I found some decals on the bay. I could still really use a metal Gazelle headbadge though. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks. -- Z.

I'd try asking s70rguy, who specializes in Dutch bikes and lives in the Netherlands.

There's a good chance that the Gazelle company still uses the same metal badge on their high end models. An inquiry in English will most certainly be understood, and maybe even answered...

Here's a pic of a very recent Gazelle:

Some people in tje Netherlands collect headbadges, or 'balhoofdplaatjes' as they are called. Now and then these people offer collections on our infamous (and Ebay owned) Marktplaats website, a kind of Craigs list. That is, this is the wild west, not Ebay.
Here is one offer, a Gazelle metal headbadge is among it:

https://link.marktplaats.nl/261611944

Contact the owner, see how far you can get. An answer is not guaranteed of course .. Good luck!

Just wanted to give you guys an update and ask for one more lead. Thanks very much S70rguy. I made contact with W. from the marktplaats ad and now that Gazelle headbadge is on its way home to me. And thanks Jan. I've sent an email to Gazelle inquiring about the last piece of the restoration puzzle. A 58cm Oma fiets chaincase. I don't know if they'll part with one so I'll ask if any of you gentlemen might have a lead for finding one. Thanks in advance, and if you're ever in Portland, the Widmer is on me. Cheers!!-- Z.

Hey, thats really great to hear. So sometimes mplaats advertisers really do answer emails from the other side of the world!

I hope he sends the right one, there were some different styles, depending on age I think.
