any cheap 27" wheels?

I need two new sets of 27X1-1/4 wheels, one set for the '80 motobecane mirage I have been riding and another for an old lugged KHS frame I'm building up, both have 126mm rear spacing and I'd like to stick with that and a six speed freewheel, I'm thinking about changing at least on one to the shimano 13-34 megarange, but I don't know if the old hurete derailer will work as well with that as the 14-24 I have now, if it won't I'll just stick with that on the moto.

non of the hubs are very good on any of the wheels I have now and the rims are steel and I want alloy,

wondering if anyone has ordered from them, and if this would be a good option, I'm looking to do this on the cheap since these are just for transportation and I don't need anything flashy or ultra light, I want to stay with the 27" because those tires seem to be the cheapest and are even at walmart,

I've also been thinking about building my own wheels but it would seem silly at such a low price, I also need to decide what I'm going to do with an old set of 700c sew up wheels that came with a Merckx I just got, one of the spokes on the rear is broken and I know that if I replace it the rest are going to start going in turn, maybe if they were clincher rims I'd be lazy and see if I was right but I'm not gonna peel the tire off and reglue it everytime a spoke goes so I might as well replace them all, or just replace all the spokes and get new clincher rims, since only one of the tires is worth reusing, but I was kind of thinking of riding it with tubulars, or I can get alot of spokes and rims and build up a few sets of 27" and 700c and have some spares and some practice building wheels,

Hey Lt,
They say timing is everything. I was just about to put the following up on eBay.

A set of recently trued aluminum rims, quick release, with a new 5 speed cogset (Shimano), new tires and new tubes (presta). They came from a Peugeot PX-10 (Normandy hubs, Super Champion rims). They were top of the line back in the day.

I'm selling them because I was building up a bike that turned out to have a bent frame. Let me know via email if you are interested.

I'm not against anything used as long as they'll last me a while and aren't too dear, main concerns are alloy rims, 126 rear spacing threaded for freewheels and would like Q/R,

if anyones got some wheels they want to get rid of just PM me,

I've also decided that I'll at least build up one or two wheels just to have a go at it, I think I'll just replace all the spokes on the sew up wheels that I have, so if anyones got a good source for spokes or suggestions and wisdom to share,

Go to a thrift shop or garage sale, buy an old ten speed for $20 and take the wheels. In fact, keep all the componets for spares. Most of the total will fit in a shoe box.

If you buy wheels over the internet, you will spend more than $20 in shipping alone.

He sorted this out by buying the two sets I had. PJ
