I'll have to let someone else capture pics and text. Lake Elsinore in So.Cal., 300+ bikes stacked and racked. I wonder what the background story is on these? N+1 cubed?
I have to be in Riverside later in the week. I think I'll go by this place, just to see what it is.

I have not yet seen it, but its a Tempo, and I'm guessing its an '86. Seller doesn't seem to know much about it, but measured the seat tube at 21" 'more or less'.

Here's a really interesting one on eBay with only 11 hours left on it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180457662355

Bobby Julich's Team Motorola, Eddy Merckx Caloi Time Trial Bike. Limited number of this team bike made. Hed rear disc, Mavic Cosmic front deep rim wheel, Shimano Dura Ace grouppo, Cinelli bars and stem, additional front and rear training wheels, everything has Team Motorola tags and bike has Bobby Julich's name tag on the frame. Very clean bike and great collector item. Bought directly from Team Motorola. Can send more photos if needed.

The difference between posting your own eBay notice here, and posting in the “For Sale” section is the difference between altruism and self-interest. The forum recognizes that difference, even if you don't. Plus, you're circumventing the requirement to be be a paid member before posting in For Sale.

The upgraded membership fee is minimal. If you sell one item here, you will likely recover your yearly fee.

You can bring the bike to our attention without falling afoul of the Forum rules. You are allowed to post a link in your sig, with a brief description. Something like: "large brand x frame available. PM if interested", is quite acceptable. Allowing other forms of self-promotion by Forum guests would create a slippery slope, and they don't pay me enough to deal with that. ($0.00 doesn't go as far as it used to )

Thanks,

Z

Man....I'd totally go for that Bianchi if I lived anywhere remotely close!

In other news, I myself am tempted by this:

Vintage 56cm Road Bike, horizontal dropouts - $100 (Seattle)

Beautiful vintage bike. Horizontal drop-outs, lugged frame, perfect for a fixie.

I see Prestige....I wonder if he'd meet me at the Ferry?

This won't last long, a very nice looking Pinarello Treviso with a full Campy Nuovo Record Group for a BIN of $500. If he didn't explicitly state that there was no shipping to Canada, I would have already bought it:

Oscuro,

Doesn't hurt to ask if he'd meet you at the dock. When I lived in that area I made a few deals that way. Walk on one way, ride on the other way.

Also check out the Trek 500 series for $150 on the Seattle CL, found it with a search for lugged.

Also found this Davidson Rando bike in probably a perfectly sized touring setup for me with the 56 top tube for fit and the 55 seat tube for clearance when carrying a load. Probably a good thing the seller didn't post a pic, besides the fact that I don't have 5,200 quarters in my pocket ($1300).
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bik/1568995817.html
Possibly a Holy Grail bike for me if it looks like I think it looks, I would assume lugged steel, no idea how the ride is. Oh well.

Bridgestone 12 speed used bike - $65 (Swampscott)

This is a large 25" frame. Top tube is 23" and stand over is 35".Horizontal suntour dropouts ,suntour and Diacomp components. The bike will need a good clean up and total adjustments and there are scratches and rust on the rear rims. This a bike from the 70's. Will get a photo if you want.I was told that the frame is worth $100.00.
Might be decent for somebody tall in the Boston area...

Looks like the Davidson in Seattle is also up on $Bay with pics:

http://m.ebay.com/Pages/ViewItem.asp...ct=off&sflag=1

Assuming that long link works.
Probably a good thing that the color doesn't do anything for me.
