I like this. The bike is crying out for a better saddle and handlebar, but the bones look solid.

Miyata Pro, 57cm c-t, triple butted Miyata chromoly tubing. Suntour Supurbe Pro gruppo. Beautiful chromed fork and chainstay. Minor cosmetic blems, some rust on the middle cable guide on the top tube. The gum rubber brake hoods are shot.
This is as nice or nicer than many high end European bikes of the same era. Here's a fun fact from the Miyata website to illustrate the point:
"Team CAPRISONNE-KOGAmiyata employed MIYATA-made road racing frame in 1980 Tour de France. In the next year the team top rider Peter Winnen won the 17th stage (Morzine- L'Alpe d'Huez), and eventually managed to complete the race with persistent vigor. His outstanding performance ranked him firmly the 5th in individual overall ranking and won him the award of Maillot Blanc (Rookie of the Year Award). This moment symbolizes that MIYATA had earned wide recognition as a sports bicycle brand in Europe, the birthplace of bicycle sports."
