In EXCELLENT shape, this is a classic bike that still keeps up with the new ones. 53.5 cm frame, all aluminum, brand new tires, perfect shifting. Estimated to be mid 90s. Comes with computer, pump, and 2 seats. This was almost $2000 when brand new, and the paint still shines like the day it was built

I'm working on it. Seller says Bridgestone is an RB-2 but that color for '88 is on a RB-1. Trying to clarify. He's 110 miles from me and refused to meet part way and a full price offer. I have a friend passing through his area shortly though. Please no sniping ; )

I'd guess for a couple of reasons:
1st, I believe these Cinelli MTBs are made in the usual Asian factories (specifically, Taiwan, I think) rather than hand-crafted in Italy
2nd, Has someone riding a Cinelli MTB actually ever won anything noteworthy? Certainly nothing like their historical records in road races.

That being said, that MTB posted here looks to be a pretty nice MTB for that silly low price. So much so that I may check it out.

The Manitou 4 fork is squished all the way down. I used the word "squished" for a reason. You would have to clean elastomer goo out of the inside of both legs, then find a pair of springs. It might be worth the effort... it was a nice fork BITD.

Go for it. It looks like you're not too far from where the seller is. I might be checking it out myself if it were closer. I'm in North Los Angeles. I wouldn't mind an occasional dirt grinder.

if its your size go buy that! i'd be on it in a second up here- older mtb have great frames that are overlooked. even my dime-a-dozen rockhopper has double butted cro-mo and is very light and responsive.

Up for sale is a beautiful, light weight vintage early-90's Torelli mens 12 spd. bicycle (58 cm frame). This classic road bike was made in Italy using high quality, light weight Columbus steel tubing. The bike is in very nice used condition for its age with no dings or mechanical imperfections. This bike has been off the road and stored indoors for the past 15 years, so, a full tune up is needed. The paint and graphics are in nice condition with the only significant scratch being on the top tube near the headset. Mavic MA-40 wheelset with Sach's Rival group and Modolo brakes. ITM stem and bars. Really nice Selle vintage saddle. It is definitely a great stylish, vintage ride.

The bike can be seen / picked up in Wilmington most any night after 6:00 p.m. I can also meet the buyer to deliver the bike weekday afternoons in the parking lot of the Riverside Green Line stop or evenings / weekends at the Wellington Orange Line station.
