For sale: 60's Schwinn Tack Tandem loaded with Campagnolo
Here is an ULTRA RARE item up for sale. 1960's Track Tandem hand built by Schwinn to be used in the PanAm Games. This tandem has it all! I have only seen one other example of these beautiful rides still in existence. Built with over sized tubing just like the early 50's Paramounts were. It has some paint blemishes and sticker fade. You could restore it to its full glory this winter or ride it at the velodrome as is. This bike is easily twice as cool as any fixed gear you have ever seen before.

I picked up a '89 914SE and had to flip it because it was a little too small for me. It killed me to sell it because of how nice a bike I felt it was.
This has my eye but I'm not sure on that sizing. 54cm could be just a little small.

The frame is made in Switzerland and loaded with many Shimano parts.
It's in good shape overall but will probably need new handlebars. There is also some rust on the fork - but it is cosmetic.
Looks like it would be good for a fixie conversion or a winter/beater bike.

Shimano Tiagra hubs
Shimano 600 brakes, front derailleur, and crank
Shimano Exage 400EX rear derailleur

Or even smaller... But he is right, taller person can ride it. However I remember how I learned to ride my grandpa's bike (leg through main triangle). So I declare, this bike and any bike is good for ANY person who know how to ride a bike (and can).
