This is an early Cannondale serial number CC07451 manufactured with the top tube welded to the down tube instead of to the head tube, a configuration that was special order at that time. I am 5 feet tall and can stand, straddling this bike's top tube. The crank set is Sugino AT. The derailer and thumb shifters are Shimano. Note the photo showing original drop handle bars removed. I replaced them with straight handle bars. I rode the bike lest than 15 times. It is in excellent condition, and beautiful. Will require a tune-up. I will be including at no charge a Slocum Road Simulator (purchased about 1985). The "like new" bike trainer has been tested but not used. See additional posting for a men's bike, similar to this bike. Stored inside since purchase.

1984 Trek 660 with Campy NR - $600 (02143)

FS: A 47cm ctc st, 52cm ctc tt Trek 660 racing bicycle from the glory days of 1984. This American made bicycle is made from British Reynolds 531cs steel and features fine Italian Campagnolo Nuovo Record cranks, shifters, and derailleurs and Italian made Modolo brakes. Original specs can be found at the Vintage Trek site. The only parts that aren't stock are the upgraded Shimano 600 pedals, the Conti Gatorskin tires, and the saddle.

This exceptionally made bicycle shows little wear in the components, has a few chips in the paint (not bad given it is 27 years old!), and could benefit from a nice cleaning that its new owner would surely enjoy.

I'm asking $600 cash, local sales preferred. If this ad is up, the bike is available. If all you e-mail about is whether it is still available, you will be ignored. Please include "Racing Red" in your e-mail somewhere so I know you're real.

54 cm Guerciotti bicycle frame - $400 (Lincoln)

Date: 2012-01-14, 11:45AM EST
Reply to: sale-ryzve-2799526920@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Guerciotti is a classic Italian lugged steel frame built with Columbus SLX tubing, investment cast bottom bracket and fork crown, Campagnolo dropouts.

Frame is a 54 cm (measured center to center and the BB is stamped "54")) and the top tube is approx. 55.5 cm (center to center).

Based on my research, this frame dates from the early to mid 1990s. 130mm rear spacing, 27.2 seatpost, italian thread bottom bracket.

This bike would make a great back-up road bike or a very kick ass single speed or fixed gear (rear drop outs are the long ones, ideal for fixed). Rear spacing could be cold set to 120mm if needed.

This bike is in good condition with no dents or structural damage of any kind but it does have the paint nicks and scratches that one would expect in a 15 year old used frame. Braze-ons include downtube shift lever bosses, front derailleur hanger, bosses for two water bottle, pump peg, top tube brake cable (3, one has slight oxidization), and rear deraileur cable stop. Bottom bracket shell has the star-shaped cutout that is a Guerciotti signature. Chromed fork and chainstays. Bottom bracket threads are in good condition.

Included in the sale are the Dura Ace headset, a seat binder bolt, and one set of water bottle bolts.

In my mind, this frame is much classier and better made than the cheap steel stuff being sold now (Bareknuckle, Surly, chinese-made Masi's, etc).

More pics available.

Cash only.

thanks for looking

50cm Serotta w/ Dura Ace

The bike is a 1991/92 Serotta Davis Phinney (Columbus SLX tubing). I raced it as a junior for two years and it has had intermittant use since then (~200 miles/year on average). I did replace the left STI lever with an aero DuraAce brake lever. Lance Armstrong did the same thing to reduce weight.

Vertical Measurements
Center of crank to center of top tube -- 50cm
Center of crank to center of saddle -- 68.5cm
Top of saddle to top of stem -- 9cm

Horizontal Measurements
Top tube (center to center) -- 54cm
Stem -- 12cm
Nose of saddle to center of stem -- 53.5cm
Tail of saddle to center of stem -- 80cm

No price, how much are they asking? It looks pretty nice to me, assuming it's a Japanese make.
