It would be a real prize.

I want one as well, but they come up every five years in my size.

There is another nice one in Mpls., but not at this reasonable price tag.

What is this bike true identity? (I know not the most appropriate place for it, but it didn't deserve its own thread). Assuming it's not really a Campione del mondo, common mistake given the sticker on the frame.

It is not Campione del Mondo but does have the '86/87 Colorado Springs world champion sticker in the DT. As far as I can tell it is a '88 or '89 Premio and should fetch closer to $150 depending on condition. MSRP was around $400. OK recreational bike with Suntour Edge level stuff nothing to write home about.

^I don't think so but some people have deeper pockets/greater want & prices are negotiable (just ask LeicaLad about his new Ritchey).

+1 Pretty sweet deal for the first person to get there. The Masi serial numbers are fairly simple, too, so a quick check would tell you if it's genuine.\

In general, if something is too good to be true, it is. When I see a seller advertising with paypal on CL, that starts my spider senses tingling.

Ya never know, but something fishy there. Most of the ad makes no sense. 16 lbs? $1100 in '69 from Japan?
