Miyata 310 62cm frame and extras - nice
[h=2]Miyata 310 62cm frame and extras - nice - $80 (Beverly)[/h]

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 62cm

Miyata 310 frame in excellent condition. Frame size is 62cm, top tube is 57.5 cm. The frame is constructed of triple butted tubing. Lugs have nice detailing. This is a great example of the quality frames Japanese manufacturers were creating in the 1980's. According to the serial number this is a 1984 model.

Paint is fresh and glossy. There is a very small scrape on the seat tube I applied some clear nail polish to. Otherwise all decals look almost new.

Included with the frame are the original SR/Sakae seatpost, stem and handlebars. The headset has fresh Phil Wood grease.

Because of the unusual top mount shifters, this would make an excellent single speed or fixed gear. You could also attach something here to carry your morning coffee :-)

Price is an even $80. If Beverly is not convenient, I can also meet in Central Square, Cambridge during weekday work hours.

66cm Eisentraut Model A, DC area:

Eisentraut Custom A

Quote:
This is a 1976 Custom Model A racing bicycle built by famed, now retired builder Albert Eisentraut of Oakland, CA. The length dimensions are (all Center to Center measurements):
Seat Tube 66 cm
Top Tube 61 cm
Down Tube 65 cm
Chain Stay 41.5 cm
Seat Stay 36.5 cm
Seat Tube angle 73
Head Tube angle 76
Fork Rake 4.3 cm
Frame is constructed of Columbus SP tubing and demonstrates the fine lug work for which Eisentraut was known. Paint and decals are original and in superb condition.

I purchased the frame in 2001. The bike was built on April 9, 1976 according to the Serial Number (040976) which can be seen in one of the photographs. The frame had never been built up! It took me a year to locate all the NOS components which include:
Campagnolo Super Record Head Set (English Thread)
Campagnolo Bottom Bracket (Italian Thread)
Campagnolo Super Record Brake Set with White Campagnolo Lever Hoods
Campagnolo Crank Set with 175 mm arms and 42/53 rings
Campagnolo Super Record Fluted Seat Post
Campagnolo Super Record Rear Derailleur
Campagnolo Super Record Front Derailleur
Campagnolo Raised Lettering Shifters
Campagnolo High Flange 36 Hole Hubs with Straight, Raised Letter Skewers
Campagnolo Super Record Pedals
Brooks Professional Large Rivet Saddle
Super Champion "Gentleman" 700 C Clincher Rims
Wheel Set built by Joe Young using DT double butted, stainless spokes
Sun Tour "New Winner" Six speed Freewheel (13,15,17,20,23,26)
Nitto Dream Bar (size 46 cm)
Nitto Technomic Stem (size 12 cm)
Rivendell Roll-y Pol-y Tires
Custom Made (Dave Bohm) Sterling Silver Headbadge
I have ridden this bike about 500 miles. All components remain in NOS-like condition as can be seen in the photographs. Additional photographs supplied on request.

If you follow the vintage bike world you know this is a very special and rare bike. I have enjoyed it for many years and it is definitely a show quality bike, but it is time to let someone else take over the "loving" maintenance and enjoyment of this wonderful riding machine!

2500 price unlikely, IMO, but a very cool bike.

I am selling my Raleigh Port Townsend Men's Steel touring bike. Purchased brand new last year and ridden very little. 57cm frame. Includes luggage basket which was an add-on feature. Great comfortable bike.

That sign predates anything Masi made. Just shows there is nothing new under the sun.

Vintage 1950's Frejus Italian steel frame with Campagnolo
[h=2]Vintage 1950's Frejus Italian steel frame with Campagnolo - $225 (Wakefield)[/h]

condition: new

Circa 1955 to '58 Frejus frame and fork. Good condition (especially considering its age) with some paint chips, but no dings or rust. Nice chrome lugs and chromed Campagnolo dropouts. Beautiful original headbadge. Frame is a medium size with a 54 cm center to center seat tube and 125mm rear spacing. Oil ports at headtube and bottom bracket. Would make a cool single/fixed gear, and certainly one that you won't see everyday. $225. Campy and Cinelli parts (and headset shown in pictures) are available at extra cost. If interested, please email a contact number. Thanks!
