Was going to post this but I see it's already covered. It did get a price drop, though.

condition: good

Offered is a late 70s/early 80s vintage Cilo Sprint X racing bike with Reynolds tubeset. The chromed and sculpted lugs are gorgeous! Drool-worthy Campagnolo Nuevo Record parts include front and rear derailleur, shift levers, front brakes, crankset, headset (jewel-like), front and rear hubs, pedals, seatpost, tire quick-releases. Also includes Campy dropouts. (Brake levers are Shimano 600 drilled and the rear brake is a good DiaComp). The stem is a classic chromed Cinelli paired with the equally classic TTT bar. The original Brooks seat and toe-clips are included. The rims are sew-ups which give a beautiful ride. There is some minor pitting of the paint but the stickers are largely intact and there is no significant rust or dents. Bar is taped with cork which feels great. Everything works perfectly.

This beauty weighs in at 22 lbs, rides like a steel dream and is ready to race or tour (has dropouts for front and rear rack). I've had it in my (dry) cellar for twenty years, unused (I'm a devout MTB rider but bought it years ago just because it was such a classic!)

I am 5'10" with a 30" inseam and it fits me perfectly (seat at mid-height, set mid-rails, stock stem).

You can take a look at Travis Cycle between 12-5pm Monday-Saturday Ask for Mark

Cash or money order only.

No idea if this is decent price or not, but I dont think I've ever seen a Bianchi touring bike. If it were anywhere near my size, I'd go see it just to see it.

I am not sure if that is a good price for a Mangalloy framed Rando or not but that is likely the lowest price I have seen for one. Looks like it still has the factory rear rack at least.

I've never seen a Enfield with that motor config. I thought Sunbeam but no. Maybe the flag is a false clue, the motor looks pre-war Italian to me.

Wow nice find hope someone here gets it the cosmetic challenges, ugly seat covers on seat and levers and cables and poor add presentation wrong side photo, tires wich look good not inflated, not so great description tend to hide a really nice bike worth a couple times the asking price.

Those Heron's were super nice bikes built for touring of course. The company put in a special reinforcement ring on the top and bottom of the headtube that they felt would make the headtube stronger to handle loads better...at least they did that when Grant Peterson was selling them, but I think I can see the ring on this one. I did notice they changed the dropouts from the Peterson days which to me appear not as artistic nor as good as the original version, and the fork was changed from a flat crown to a sloping crown which I don't think is a big deal but for some reason Grant thought the flat crown forks were better?

However I think $900 is overpriced for a bike without components, here's a bike fully equipped: Heron Touring Also a little history.

Agreed, especially since you can get a Soma (Rivendell/GP) San Marcos for $900 with a flat crown fork...
