This is a very nice early 1980's Raleigh Professional, 64cm seat tube, so for a tall person: 6'+. Great lug work, full Reynolds 531, Suntour Pro dropouts, and the original and paint is in very good condition. Has new brake hoods, new Velo Orange cloth bar tape, recent 25mm tires, modern 8sp chain, and is tuned and ready to ride. Has a mix of Campagnolo clincher wheels and bottom bracket, Suntour shifters/derailleurs, Avocet crank (144bcd, 54/42) and pedals, Gran Compe brakes, Shimano 6sp SIS freewheel (13-26), SR stem/bars/post, and a vintage Brooks leather seat. A killer bike, but too similar to my '79 Raleigh Team Pro for me to keep. Email to arrange a viewing, and if the ad is up the bike is for sale. Thanks.

Don't know about the price...but...I have a bike that has a similar rod operated front derailleur...i.e. suicide shifter...and...yes...I did it...ONCE! Scared the beejeezus out of me...trying to watch the road, watch my hand, shift the bike, pedal...wow...won't be shifting it again!

Hand-made Columbus double-butted frame with great frame lugs.
Great steel frame responsiveness on the road. Less than 5,000 miles total.

57cm / 23 inch seat tube (top to ctr of BB), 56cm top tube. Classic geometry; relaxed wheel base.

Campagnolo derailleurs -- Rear is Nuovo Record (replaced the original Campy Gran Turismo). Front is Campagnolo Nuovo Valentino. Campy large-flange hubs.

Alex paired spoke wheels are made under license from Rolf wheels: they use 24 front and 28 rear stainless steel spokes. Rims are Alex semi-aero that are CNC'd. Hubs are sealed bearing with a 7000 series Aluminum axles and works with Shimano 8/9 speed cassettes. Weight for the pair is 1770 grams.
Just had these wheels trued at REI, excellent condition.

I contacted the seller since it's my size and a 20 minute drive. It's also on flebay with a few higher rez photos. The seller has only sold a headset on ebay a long time ago. This would be a GREAT deal if it was in good shape. It's FAR from it. Quote from seller, "There are number of dents and some rust on the frame. I think tubing is made out of steel coated with chrome. Chrome on the fork has some rust but decent condition."

Most of the value is in the frame by looking at this photo. DKO flipping at it's worst most likely. The Brooks saddle is a keeper

I am selling my beloved Cannondale SR600. Shimano 105 components. Needs some minor items and TLC, but it's a wonderful and light road bike that will serve you well. 56 frame. I am the original owner. Wolber GTX hard anodized 700C wheels, light Criterium 3.0 aluminum frame (lighter than the Treks and comparative aluminum racing frames of the day). Shimano 105 components have held up beautifully. It needs new tires, inner tubes, handlebar tape, reflectors and pedals, but has a new seat!

@Steve Whitlatch I purchased the Atala for the components, with the intention of selling the frame/fork on Ebay. The seller of the Atala emailed me that a buyer contacted him after I bought the bike and wanted to have me get in touch with him to sell the Atala. This is not the first time this has happened, where a seller notify's me about a potential buyer after the sale. After removing the parts, I saw that putting the Atala frame/fork on Ebay, would be more of a hassle then just selling it locally, so I contacted the referred buyer in hopes of selling the frame and fork, but windup selling the completely disassembled bike. I guess a bird in the hand is better then two in the bush
