Worth it?
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/1469049252.html
55cm Benotto

This is a very light, Italian made, Columbus steel frame ready for restoration, repaint, or a rebuild. The frame itself has a lot of trick Italian detailing with lots of Benotto pantographing. It is also very light, a good bit lighter than a similar size all Reynolds 531 frame I have, so I am going to guess the tubing is Columbus SLX, some of the finest steel available. This is an ideal frame for a light fixed or single speed build and it’s quality throughout. Includes a lot of parts too, all it really needs is cables, a chain, and wheels.

Features:

Columbus lugged frameset w/ Benotto pantographing and cool Italian detailing throughout
Full chrome Benotto fork w/ Campagnolo ends
Campagnolo dropouts
Cinelli aluminum stem
Campagnolo Record Aero seatpost
Gipiemme bottom bracket
Gipiemme crankset
Specialized sealed headset
Aluminum Bars
Suntour Brakes and levers
Shimano Deore Deraileurs (F+R)
All threads in great shape.

Beautiful Italian 1989 Pinarello, Columbus Cro-Mo that I looked at today... the frame is 1" too big for me. Really clean, really nice, really cheap. He's asking for $350 may negotiate.

Its NOT really nice and its NOT really cheap. If it was worth $350 I would have bought it when it was listed a month ago.

This bike is fantastic. It's got about 1500 miles on it... I bought for my girlfriend but she doesn't want it. The frame is made out of titanium and the fork is carbon. Full ultegra group and mavic wheels with shimano ultegra hubs. It's in superb condition.

The full specs can be found here:

https://www.bikepedia.com/Quickbike/B...3%29&Type=bike

I really need to sale this bike in order to buy a car. So, make me an offer!

The guy likely would have taken less money on it.

Same model sold on Flea-bay for $389 + $80 shipping in worse shape a while ago. So to me it seemed like a reasonable deal, but you obviously know more about this stuff.

Not with a "hand built in England" decal and Reynolds 501 steel...

C'mon Miami,

There's no such thing as a clean Pinarello that isn't worth $350. Even in Cromor.

crappy shots (and I don't know what the deal with the reflector might be), but this is a steal of a frame, esp. for someone local

Looks a bit fishy. Clearly a repaint since they only came in brown. Looks like top tube cable guides may have been added. Very washed out overall picture and a very carefully cropped set of interesting details. Top tube, dropout, crank details missing...

ROFL! It's even got a "Flick Stand" still mounted on the downtube!! hehe! Where were you in `82! (Actually, I seem to remember them being around in the 70's ... around the same time as "tire savers"!)

CL is a netherworld of the inexpensive or the underpriced. People just refuse to buy for responsible prices from it reliably. I'm not surprised that a $350 Pinarello could sit for a month and not sell, but that is certainly *no* proof that the bike is worth less.

hmmm... methinks that the fact that nobody is willing to buy it @ $350, is pretty much the definition of "is worth less"...
