I called. He has a bunch of people interested. If I could have gotten there by 8am it would have been mine. I'm in Illinois, would have been an early start and long drive for a bike that looks like a project, or maybe just a clean-up and lube. Having a hard time writing this, still not awake.

Vintage 1982 Trek 730 Road Bike - $495

I know this guy - bought my Palo Alto frame from him a few years ago. High priced, but a straight shooter and master mechanic.

Nishiki 63cm - $120

Big fellow's Nishiki Prestige, looks clean, cheap for this area. Could use a link or two in the chain, though.

This is a bridgestone street bike in good condition. I'm not sure on the size of it but I am 5'10 and it fits me. Probably won't be good for anyone much smaller.

My wife's old Raleigh mixte:

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/1538321069.html

I aged the saddle with some lacquer thinner. I sold the frame fork and saddle at the Pedaler's bike swap a couple of years ago for around $50.

It wasnt nearly so stylish when she had it.

There's a dent in the fork.

1 green miyata 1000 frame fork, headset, bottom bracket. splined, triple butted cro-mo tubing. 52 cm center to center. exquisite crown cutout lugwork with the silver dropped in.... see pictures... it's a beautiful frame, hard to find one in this nice condition. not new, but still looks great.... glossy paint. a few nicks and scratches, minor, touched up. handmade in japan. do a web search for this model and you'll find all kinds of praise for it, top of the line and still highly sought after today. a comparable new frame of this quality today would cost several times more. see this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miyata and scroll down to the 1000, sheldon brown's comments are quite an endorsement. all the braze ons and extras on this frame, ready to build up to your specifications for that loaded touring or single speed bike - it's got hozo dropouts, so could be made into a single speed, commuter, or loaded tourer, which is what it was made for. i had great plans for this bike to build up to a modern cross country tourer, and hate to sell it, but can't justify keeping it anymore. asking 250$

2 '84 centurion GT elite. 49 cm c-c. frame fork BB. another high quality made in japan loaded touring frame with all the braze ons and extras, relaxed geometry. nice lugwork with silver borders. $100. good link by an enthusiast, ideas for building it up: https://www.ecovelo.info/2008/08/07/g...rion-elite-gt/
vert drop outs. as you can see by the link, it's still a great frame and can be built up beautifully.

both for 300$. i've held onto these frames for over 15 years since i picked them up, and they've spent that time sealed in a box until now. time to go. the right bike enthusiast will appreciate these high
quality frames, especially the miyata.

please email. thanks.

This is a '60's vintage 10 speed woman's bicycle. Outstanding condition, always garaged. Tires are worthless, as one might expect from a bike sitting in a garage for 50 years. The price is one dollar (and that is not firm, could be less) Come and get this beauty so I won't have to cut it up so it will fit in the can. I'm sure there is someone out there that can appreciate this antique. No rust.
