Price includes one hour's experience, but then you get $10 discount... but then you pay travel expenses... but then you will see beautiful Oregon... but... I will pass.

Ten dollars off the price of each bike if you will work with me for one hour rebuilding bicycles. This is for your benefit, not mine. Many people have never in their lives held a wrench in their hands. In one hour I will be able to teach you the basic elements of repairing your own bicycle. Things like tightening your brakes, oiling your chain, greasing a wheel bearing, adjusting a derailleur, tightening a spoke. Knowing how to quickly repair a problem on your bicycle could save someone's life someday.

Pretty Bianchi:

https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/bik/1902077346.html
1981 Bianchi Super Leggera / Specialissima - Celeste! - $600 (Cape Cod)

Date: 2010-08-16, 3:05PM EDT
Reply to: sale-z8fdv-1902077346@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Selling my beautiful Bianchi; not riding it much and I'm thinking of thinning the herd. First, a few pictures:

The particulars:
In the year this one was made, there were two top of the line complete bikes sold, the Super Corsa and the Super Leggera. They were pretty distinct with the chromed lugs. There was also a frameset available: the Specialissima. I believe this one was a Specialissima. The columbus tubing rides supremely, and the celeste paint coupled with chrome is breathtaking.

55cm top tube, 56cm seat tube. Both measurements center to center.

Components:
Nuovo Record front derailleur, headset, and shift levers
Suntour Cyclone rear derailleur (a definite upgrade from the NR rear der.)
Sugino Super Mighty crankset with factory "drillium" 52/42 chainrings
Weinmann Carrera brake levers and calipers
Mod Fiamme bars, Cinelli stem
Avocet seatpost, can include either the more period correct Avocet seat or the racey one on there now.
The pedals are sold.
Shimano 600 hubs on Matrix rims, 700x18 race tires (not pictured).
There are few scratches, but they are not deep and not very visible.

Contact me with questions. I'm located in North Falmouth, 10 minutes over the Bourne bridge.

It's your duty to post the KC bikes on here. At least the good ones that you don't buy.

This seems overpriced to me:

Trek 500 12 speed Bike *Vintage 1984* - $300

How much should I offer if the ad is accurate and it is in great condition? Many thanks.

Another Trek, but this one is located on the west coast. Great deal! I wish I was going to be in the area as I'd nab it for sure.

VINTAGE TREK 710 22 1/2" - $175 (MEDFORD)

Vintage Trek 710--- This is a 1979 handbuilt american made Trek bicycle, made of lightweight Reynolds 531. It has decent components and new tires. 175.00 is a fair price for this vintage bike, I've seen just the frames sell for over $200.00.

The ad says it pretty well: "beater". Oh, you mean what model? Probably an early Allez. There was a year (or two?) early on when they came with chrome forks.

54cm Schwinn Traveler project bike - $65 (west philly)

Reply to: sale-xth38-1904232775@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

54cm Schwinn Traveler lugged steel frame. Shimano downtube shifters and drivetrain, needs to be put back on bike. **Bike needs a chain, derailleur cables, and is missing the non drivetrain side bottom bracket nut. Should be just a dollar or so for the nut. That's why the crank arm is not shown in the photo. Weinmann 415x alloy rims are true. Project bike, could be a single speed, cruiser, or build it back up as a 12 speed. $65

For all you Paramount fans out there, although, this is the copper model which sure does pop when those chrome lugs are polished to a high sheen.

I was going to look at this but decided I just have too many bikes at the moment. I might go give it a test ride just to see what the Paramount mystique is all about. I could help with this one is someone is interested.
