I thought about going for that little Claud Butler for my girlfriend but I think it is a little too far gone for me after I saw some bigger photos on eBay. It is still a heckuva deal on Craigslist, just not for me. Here is the auction, in case anyone else is interested.

[h=2]56cm Rossin Columbus SL frame - $240 (Boston/Quincy)[/h] Have a 20-30 year old, white 56cm, rossin road frame. horizontal campagnolo drop outs with 126mm spacing, columbus sl tubes, original fork included. the frame also has a campagnolo loose ball bottom bracket installed, no headset. small dent on top of chain stay, otherwise in good condition. would be very interested in a comparable 56-60cm frame trade.

Looks like a nice conversion. Fun looking ride.

Commuter/gravel grinder: 54cm 1992 Miyata Triplecross + Upgrades - $380 (Brookline)

~50cm Seat tube (CtC), 54.75 cm TT (CTC) see https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_whtVpXkKwl...0-h/img299.jpg for details.

For replies or questions please include a phone # to ensure you are a real person. If it is up it is available for sale. Cash & carry.

This is a great do-it-all commuter/gravel grinder/light tourer bike. Lots of tasteful upgrades. Basically like a inexpensive Surly Cross Check with some Japanese vibe. Frame was treated with Framesaver before build. No dents, but some scratches and paint chips as expected for a classic bike. Note the saddle and pedals will be different than pictured. Saddle will be a generic Nashbar (pretty comfy).

Frameset; Miyata Exclusive Spline Triple Butted main frame tubes; full cro-mo fork & stays.
Wheelset: MAVIC CXP22/Formula 8-9-10 Shimano Compatible (spin nicely, true, little break wear)
FD/RD: Shimano 105-1055 FD, modern 10 speed long cage 105 rear derailleur
Shifters: 8 speed Shimano indexed bar-end shifters (cassette is 7 speed but when you replace it you can upgrade to 8 speeds; shifts great)
Crankset: Stronglight Impact compact crankset
Stem/Bars: Nitto (some scratches from insertion on the handlebars); Fyzik bar tape.
Brakes: Shimano Deore V-brakes, Kool-Stop pads
Rack: Blackburn. Bungy cord included.
Pedals: different than shown; will be PowerGrips
Fenders: SKS 45mm
Tires: Vittoria Randonneur Hyper 700x35 (<200 miles).

Location: Brookline

I see it as a practically free Daytona group with wheels. You can sell that frame on eBay for $300 anytime you like.

Yeah, I wrote him to see if he'd ship. Hopefully, he won't have too much other interest as 65 cm is a bit large. I'd be really happy if he goes for it.

Price seems a bit high, but it is nice. For this price, though, I would expect the rust in the chainring bolts to be taken care of...

The fork might just be covered with grease; but prob'ly not on the coast. I think the wheels are 700c.
Why didn't anybody tell me peugot had an "e" px10, or that Dawes used Zeus stuff? Oh-I mean hyperbollockly $500.

True, but he hasn't responded either way and I just noticed that it's a 10 day old posting, so odds are good someone already scooped it up and he just didn't delete the ad. If he says he won't ship, finding a facilitator to go take a look at it would be my next try.

Looks like a pretty nice Schwinn Passage, not too expensive if it's the bike you want.

Tommasini Sintesi 58cm (23in) Italian Road Bicycle Full Campagnolo - $1200 (Pella)
c1999 Tommasini Sintesi 58cm (23in) for sale. Nothing wrong with it at all, it is just way to nice a bicycle to hang, unridden in my garage. I bought it used locally (DSM) about 5 years ago, which was 3 kids ago. I have put an embarrassing 50-100 miles on it total. It deserves a loving, knowledgeable, road-biker's home.

Full Campy Chorus 8sp,
Columbus Neuron tubing (sweet, fully Italian riding joy)
Ritchey pedals, Mavic Open Pro rims
the only part not original, that I can tell, is a CODA stem.

This bike as a new FRAMESET appears to go for $2000 plus, so I figure someone out there thinks this is a steal. 1200$ OBO (go ahead, make an offer)

Pictured bike is the actual bicycle but sale does not include the bottle cages and bicycle now has different, Ritchie clipless pedals. Classic beauty, isn't it.

Please email with questions and more pictures.
You far-and-away folks: I'd be willing to ship from my local bike shop, professionally packed of course. We could work out the price.

Thanks for looking.

Sorry for the crappy formatting. I thought this looked cool. It's a bit small for me, and, from what I've heard, would be a bit noodly under my weight, but I still think it looks cool.
