Don't see these very often: Sutter 10spd Bicycle
Simplex RD?
Could that fron hub be campy or more likely Normandy?
All I know about these is they were imported from a small French company during the 'bike boom'

Looks like an entry-level bike boom era bike. Hubs are unlikely to be Campagnolo, standard-issue Normandy is more likely. Looks pretty similar to a Peugeot UO-8, but without the Peugeot cachet.

1984 Trek 620 w racks, fenders, panniers... Price isnt a steal, but seems reasonable enough compared to some of the other tourers posted here. I know these bikes have a lot of fans out there:

That's a really good price for the Seattle area, especially with the included extras. Probably won't last long. That 620, for that price, with all that gear, wouldn't last more than a few hours on the Portland CL, imo.

+1 on the 620 price. That's even a fair deal here on the lowly midwest.

I don't know much about Bianchis, but this seems like a pretty good deal, especially here in the Pacific Northwest.

56cm Bianchi. The gears are a bit worn but its still is a good ride.

A pity in some ways, a high ender, in other ways...
1972 Paramount converted to a single speed:
https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/4341891233.html

Fixed-SS flip flop Paramount conversion 56cm - $1000 (chapel hill)

56cm 1972 Schwinn Paramount, converted to singlespeed/fixie. This is a plush, plush ride with a combo of beautiful original vintage parts and high end modern componentry.
Cranks, pedals and headset all original Campagnolo Nuovo Record. Original chrome Cinelli Giro d'Italia drop bars (quill stem) and Suntour brake levers.
Custom built Sun Rims laced to high-flange chrome Phil Woods; rear flip flop with White Industries cogs and freehub; Conti GatorSkin tires.
Brooks Swallow saddle with copper rivets, custom purple metallic paint job.
I have over $1000 invested in this bike, but will consider reasonable offers. Pics show with bullhorn bars, Cinellis also pictured unattached.

Yea, Treks are terribly popular here. It's not uncommon here to see nice vintage Trek tourers, like the 600 series, go for 400+ easy, especially when they come with a lot of extras.

That's what I thought. Never priced them, or when I have seen them they've been out of my meager budget. If it were my size, or even close, I would have gone to see it. Reassuring there are still good buys to be had up here on C list!

On 620 price, thats more like the price you would see for a 520 with caliper brakes. Its incredible really. Add front and rear racks, etc. Deal, deal, deal.

On the Paramount above: bent fork. I can imagine seller has quite a bit invested in this one. I have a 1973 Paramount track frame set which I would love to build up. But I can't do it at anything reasonable budget wise.

If he left it alone he could have gotten the $1000 for it... now after putting in $1000 to butcher it he'll be lucky to get $400.

Or maybe he got it as a frame and built it the way he wanted? The frame looks complete, no harm done.

Cool! I wonder if the model will allow you to reposition the saddle, remove the dork disk, slam the stem, route the cables correctly and install DT shifters ...

Obviously he built it the way HE wanted! That doesn't change the fact that powdercoating the frame lessened the value of the bike. But the statement that it has the "original" pedals, cranks, headset, bars and stem indicate it was more than a bare frame.

The location gives it away-Chapel Hill. Probably a student. Basketball, they know. The cycling community there is wide-ranging, and this is a fine example of perhaps one end of the spectrum.
