This is pretty small but $78 for a ChroMO f/f hybrid with a decent Exage 500LX group (much newer shifters though) doesn't seem bad. Univega Via Montega Hybrid Mountain Road Bike 50cm New 21 Speed Shifter | eBay

I think it is a '90

Vintage Schwinn 1987 Prologue road bike, Dura Ace crank set

[h=2]Vintage Schwinn 1987 Prologue road bike, Dura Ace crank set - $300 (JP)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

(google map) (yahoo map)

1987 Schwinn Prologue with Dura Ace crank set & Shimano 600 breaks and shifters
not sure of size- I am 5'8" and it's a little too big for me (my reach is stretched out)
I will measure all tubes as soon as possible

Original Selle Italia seat with wear through vinyl but foam in excellent condition. You could refurbish with some nice leather- (Cover your worn bicycle saddle with real leather)

Some rust on steel body, definitely needs some TLC but has GREAT potential.
Continental Gatorskin tires

Selling as is, with the Look pedals. Asking $300 or make a reasonable offer

I am curious if the RD is just loose or the hanger is broke off.

Wow, that's funny! I think that bike his girlfriends because it looks really small. I bet it's a joke, for $50 the front wheel is worth more than that.

Looks a little pricey for CL, especially with these parts, but it also looks like it's in good shape and these don't grow on trees. I'd probably be contacting him if I weren't trying to be more disciplined.

LOOK Bernard Hinault Equipe Limited Addition - 57cm - Very Rare

For sale is a very rare vintage Look Bernard Hinault Equipe Limited Edition. From my research, in 1986 only 500 of these were manufactured. This one is very nice in a 57cm.

The frame is the most sought after aspect of this bike as it was built with Reynolds 753r tubing in the classic LOOK colors with a pearl base. It rides like a dream and overall the frame is in very good condition with a few nicks and chips and a few touch ups on the base pearl. The Campy dropouts have just a small bit of surface rust in the non-drive side and the drive side is just about perfect.

The equipment is a full Shimano 600 Triple group including the 7-speed STI shifters, front and rear derailleurs, head set, crank, brakes and hubs laced to Mavic MA40 rims. The tires are new Bontrager AW Hardcase in 700x23. The stem is a nice 3ttt and the drop bar is a poorly match Trek System alloy (how that got on there is a mystery). New tape as well. The saddle is a period correct Selle Italia Flite Titanium with some wear but a good match to the overall look of the bike. All of the components are in excellent condition and function as they should.

If you are into vintage road bikes, it would be a nice addition to a collection, as well as a solid daily rider. They don't come up for sale often as only 1 exact and 1 similar frame has sold on Ebay for at or close to $1,000.

Happy to meet you to check it out more closely and purchase for cash only. I won't give it away so will only respond to legitimate emails. Thanks for looking.

^^ There are dedicated TDF race fans, like there is with auto racing, that will think that bike would make a great addition to their collection and won't even blink at the price.

Kind of an unusual brand, what's interesting is that most Italian made frames were chromed to prevent rust then painted, and some cases the forks, stays were left unpainted and that's why those parts in a lot of vintage bikes were chromed; but where it was painted if the paint got removed from abuse and in the above example the chrome would show through, this bike doesn't have any of chrome showing in the marred paint areas, this is most typical of British, Japanese, and American made frames. Not saying that chroming the frame was done 100% in all Italian frames, but large majority were.

But anyway it does come with Campy components, that's a big plus for a vintage bike.

I can't understand why this hasn't sold, unless the seller never pulled the ad. I think it is a '80ish Super Corsa Bianchi vintage Green

OH IC. Needing tires and overhaul anything over 500 is too much.
