Is this a good deal for a middle of the road Bianchi boom bike? Looks like it comes with air in the tubes, just lube and ride.

^^^ As wall art ABSOLUTELY! To ride it around town, sure. As a more serious rider, not so much.

Valentino's reputation is not too good.

^ That's an interesting (lack of) rake on the fork, for a touring bike.

Why yes he is.

I wouldn't sell one for less than $1,500.

I'm still looking for another one of these in my size.

Yeah according to a lot of Bridgestone lovers, that is THE Bridgestone, even over the RB-1 and MB-zip. I had an XO-3 but it was too small. Damn nice bike though.,,,,BD

I'm trying to figure out if I'm willing to ride this with about a -2" standover. It probably fits top tube wise... Long torso / short legs. :-)

I've owned all of these at one time or another.

All fun bicycles, but I really had a blast with my XO-1.

I've even had a builder draw up plans for a replica, but I keep hoping to find another pumpkin XO-1 in a big guy size.

Someday I might get lucky.

54 Valley Rd

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 56 cm

This is a very rare ride. I bought the frame in 2010 in California and built it up for the first time. The frame is from the early 1990s - Columbus tubing, lugs, chrome, a few cool stamps, and unique paint/sticker pattern ala Carlo Dossena - and now has Ultegra groupset and brakes, cinelli handlebars/stem.

Photos show all of the details. Send an email with any questions.

I am moving and must sell. Please contact me if you can give the bike a good home and take it for long rides.

Thanks!

Why yes I have. I live across the river from the Handsome store in Mpls.

In fact, I ride by there five times a week in the summer. I've ridden the XOXO and it is a very nice frameset for the money.

I've been holding out for another XO-1 though.

At some point I may just build an XOXO though, as they make for a great all roader.

Talking about the one I had.

I sold mine in two days for four digits plus.

The one for $1,200 has been around for quite a bit.

Plus, some of these XO-1 guys are rabid fans.

This one will eventually sell. Not to me though.

I had seven guys after mine. Two of them were "very" po'd that I didn't sell it to them.

I don't see that in St. Louis. Must be a Montana phenomenon, Dave. Maybe the seller means that the bike was never ridden.

Believe me - I know how hard these are to find and how rabid the fan base is. I would have no qualm paying that for one...but not with a dent

Yep, no dents unless I put them in.

Put a big fat one in my Bob Brown mtb two weekends ago.

Fell off going down a rock/gravel hill at the cabin.

I'm never gonna sell that bike anyway.....
