Road Bike Schwinn Super Le Tour 59cm Columbus Tubing Frame Ready Ride
Road Bike Schwinn Super Le Tour 59cm Columbus Tubing Frame Ready Ride - $265 ( Bucks County)

Not especially a fan of Schwinns, but I like this one too, partly because of the understated color scheme. Been listed for a while now.

Brain-tubed Merckx with some weird issues... $500

Bicycles: Road Bikes Classifieds for Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming | ksl.com

Here is your winter project. I bought this bike wanting a classic steel frame in my stable. This classic fit the bill but the truth is I just didn't ride it. Plus it has a couple of minor problemos. I did put on brand new Michelin pro 4 25mm tires. That set me back another $100 right there. This bike need someone that will love it. I don't deserve it. I bought it for what i thought was a good deal at $800. I just need to get it out of the garage now. My loss your gain. Help me with a little Christmas money. The cool thing is this bike is ready to ride. You can enjoy riding this bike while you fix it up and make it your own special classic steel ride.

Top tube 56cm c-c
Seat tube 55cm c-c

Issues. Some minor chips in the paint but not too bad. A little surface rust on the chrome fork. The front fork drop outs. One is worn a bit more than the other causing the front wheel to sit a little off center. I think it is a pretty easy fix though. I have just been careful as I clamp the front wheel in place with the skewer to make sure it is centered. The surface rust would be an easy cleanup with a little elbow grease. The wheel with the weird hole in it spins true and has not been an issue at all (other than cosmetic). You probably noticed that the right shifter/brake lever is a 105 and not an Ultegra. It is newer and shifts perfectly. Hope that helps. Please buy my bike!

Good price for this bike with Cyclone deraillers.
1985 Centurion Le Mans RS - 60cm

[h=2]1985 Centurion Le Mans RS - 60cm - $150 (woodbridge)[/h]

I'm selling my 1985 Centurion Le Mans RS. The frame is made of Tange 2 double butted Cro-Mo tubes with Mangaloy 2001 forks. It come with 12 speed Suntour Cyclone. All of the parts are original and the bike has been overhauled yearly since it came into my posession 3 years ago. The frame shows sings of wear with some rust and paint chips. C-T measures 60cm.

Does he have any other wheels to try in that fork? Dish, washer placement this is gum in my hair. File before chroming if possible. I hate people who clean rust with steel brushes

There's a Colnago with chainstays on ebay what look like they cracked during a 9-speed spacing cold set. I thought 753 and MAX and later couldn't be bent but this- maybe it was overheated. The same seller has an intact Mexico for sale.

I'd ask the SanRensho guy if the stem is movable, with that rusty chain and crankbolt. Still it is a good thing I am clueless about facilitating- of course gifts for my relations with similar height who live nearby..

I took a look at this De Rosa today. More like a 59/60 c-c, so a little small for me. Pretty frame though. 1987 De Rosa Professioal Frame & Fork only

Vista Custom Elite w/ Superbe *Beautiful*

For you Suntour Superbe fans out there, buy the bike for $329, part it out, sell the very clean Tange Champion frame for a few bucks and keep a very complete and pristine Superbe groupset, hubs, brakes, crankset, headset, everything, for yourself. Or just keep an obscure but kind of cool bike.

I wasn't really sure what it was when I posted that, but I did a little research afterwards and realized what it was. Those old Peugeots can be tough for me to identify, I thought it might have been a higher end bike at first.

Not only is it tough to identify these old "treasures", but, the disappearance of THE MAIN website which *was* the authority has gone bye-bye. I'm sick to see it go, it was like an old "interweb friend" to me...https://retropeugeot.com/ ...which now has "error 404" all over the place on all the links. Sad...

Yeah, Pug made it hard by using similar color and decal schemes across all levels and never putting a model name on the frame.

I see you have an '83 Trek 600. Me too. Great bike.

I've been watching your posts, nice bike. I've converted mine over to 9 speed with a triple and bar ends. I'm looking forward to seeing the 650B conversion!

Nice Miyata in San Diego for someone taller than me

This looks like a nice catch and good value for someone over 6 feet tall looking for a classic steel bike:

That bike is a heck of a deal, to bad it's a smaller size. It became a mid level bike 1992 and Miyata stopped making triple butted splined main tubes or stays, but for $200 it's still a nice bike.
