1985 Bridgestone T700 touring, updated in hot market $329

For a rehabbed touring bike in the Seattle metro area, this seems like a great deal especially considering it is retail store. (Scroll down)

With a taco-ed front wheel, check carefully for frame/fork damage. On the other hand, the parts, if in good condition, could be worth it alone.

Nope, never been there, but they post often on CL, and always wanted to go. A hike for me though. I would bet their parts bin is deep, if they opened it. But yeah, like post below says, they'd give the original parts with it. I'm traveling now, otherwise, I might have driven there to see this.

IIRC Alpine was the marque of a custom builder in the DC area a while back.

This would have SL tubing and Columbus chrome fork. It matches the catalog. It looks pretty dirty but with 8 speed 600 Tr-Color STI could be worth a look. I would be on it since it's my size but I need to be N-1 right now.

Bertoni Road Bike - "Specialissima," 58

Hello,

Bertoni Specialissima. 58. Made in Italy. Vintage, early 90's. Beautiful Italian craftsmanship. Lugged & fitted construction. Look Pedals. Mavic and Matrix (USA) wheels. Campagnolo brakes. Integrated shifters. Full-sized crank.

Aero bars and extra 700c Mavic wheel included.

Very nice bike in its day. Still has many miles left. Was my father's bike and, were it a larger frame, I would keep and ride it. Looking for a good and appreciative home.

I've been there, it's a pretty cool shop. Though I find it surprising they'd swap in modern brifters on an old Bridgestone. Marketability, I guess? The fact that they mention the original parts are on hand suggests they were maybe a bit reluctant to do the swap. Got to try and move some metal, one way or the other.

The bikes they've got hanging around in their museum are very lovingly preserved.

This was my triathlon trainer in the 80s. Sadly neglected now in the barn. Rust starting on frame and some components. Needs deep cleaning and tuning, and probably a chain from sitting. All English thread Campy Record and Nuovo Record. Mavic rims. Heavy road tires. Quality Performance frame. Brooks seat. The value is there if you know your stuff. No parts sales until I make the decision to tear it down. No tire kickers. No low ballers. If I can't get my price I'll break it down and e-bay it. Or you can and make some money. I have eight bikes and this is the least used.

Not me, but I'm in Rochester for the holiday and if it were still available, I'd be all over it (not my size but for parting out).

[h=2]Schwinn KOM S7 mountain bike - $150 (st paul, MN)[/h]Schwinn KOM S7 mountain bike

This was Schwinn's second from the top of the line mountain bike back in 1990. Tange steel TIG welded frame. Originally had Deore DX components, but I replaced the rear detailer with an XT. Good, solid mountain bike made before suspension. Lots of scratches and chips, this bike has been used. Still a great ride. I'm the original owner. 20" frame. Frame was made in Japan as all good Schwinn's were.

I posted this 3Rensho a few weeks ago but now the seller finally has some decent day-time photos up. The paint looks original whereas in the earlier photos, it looked like a toss-back-a-few-beers-and-get-out-the-spray-can respray.

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sf...818868481.html

$1250 ain't cheap but this Tommasini looks unridden and it has a Chorus group plus, look at that paint!

https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/4819488980.html

I've never heard of Chris Huber but the frame looks decent and a Chorus equipped bike with Neutrons for $600 is a deal regardless of the marquee

Full $500 asking price is a good value. There's $100 worth of tools and $100 worth of spare parts (if they're all good).
