I'd go $400 if it were local.

I really like these bikes - they're excellent examples of the japanese sports tourer and the cyclone stuff works pretty well. I especially like the color scheme on this one. I sold mine for a good bit more than ths, so I do think the asking price is fair. I might be able to facilitate, but shipping might kill the value.

I have a classic 1986 yellow Lotus Cyclone. This bike is 100 percent original and has been sitting in my parents shed for the last 15 years. It is in good shape with some wear but overall nice condition. This bike is not that common and is priced to sell, this bike has a strong following for a reason.275.00 obo

Did you notice in the ad the seller mentions the DT is bowed?

This Raleigh looked kinda cool. Too small for me. Found it while searching for a Avocet Racing saddle to fit a '89 Bridgestone RB-2 I bought yesterday. This maybe a new way to look for cool bikes, do Craigfind.com searches on components they often had on them. Hehe.

Peugeot PXN10E

[h=2]Peugeot PXN10E - $225 (Mount Horeb)[/h]

Spidel brakeset
Stronglight Cranks
Simplex rear deraileur
Rear rim is a weinmann concave, front rim not original
Avocet touring seat, i believe this not to be original also
All other parts appear to be original.
Could use a good steam bath, some surface rust on frame typical for the age of this bike

The Fuji S10S and S12S was the start of the downfall of U.S. bike companies that made lighweights. They showed that the Japanese could make a far superior (good quality components) and lighter product at a competative price. It was the beginning of the end for many U.S. bike companies (i.e. Schwinn). I remember my girlfriend bought one in 1982 then ran into the back of me at the SC coast and bent her wheel.

That's probably more than the bike cost new. Bottom of the line and nothing remarkable but the curved seat tube. Fork blades appear to be bent back.

This one might be worth having. Weren't all the Ross Signature frames built by Tom Kellogg, or designed by him and built by him and group of others for Ross? This is cheap. There's one similar on CL here for three or four times this amount.

I think that is a Ross 290S, which is nothing too special. I've seen many of these on CL in Chicago. I could be wrong though...

Three cheap bikes for price of one

What seems to be a U08 with rough paint and two other bikes for $50 in Brooklyn must be a good deal. I can't tell what the other two are though.

You are not wrong, this bike is priced right. The one on D.C. CL is ridiculously overpriced, that's why it has been listed for months. Tom Kellogg was long gone from Ross and had started Spectrum when this was built.
