Looks cool (and legit). Asking price is questionable, though I guess ultimately not unreasonable. The dent is the real shame.

Even if the paint isn't your bag, this is a really nice riding rigid MTB. Regardless, the Deore LX group, even with the defective (repairable?) front shifter, is worth more than asking price.

Park Pre Hammer 17 inch 90s Tange Mountain Bike w/Deore LX Components
[h=2]Hammer 17 inch 90s Tange Mountain Bike w/Deore LX Components - $45 (Shoreline)[/h]

Hey there, Here is a light weight high quality Bike, with a Tange Terra Firma CroMo Frame, Aluminum 26 inch Wheels, and a full Shimano Deore LX Component group set. The bike is not 100% restored, the shifter for the front three chain rings is non functional, so basically this is a 7 speed bike right now. $45 cash is a bargain for this quality of bike, you can use it as is with 7 speeds and due just fine, I will pre set the front chain ring to the speed of your choosing (low / mid / high) depending on where your riding you may just keep it on middle or high and be perfectly happy. this should fit someone around 5'6" to 5'10" ish

You probably wouldn't be inspired by the taste in backdrop of one prolific Toronto CL poster.

Fellow has lots of great stuff, but always takes pics of bikes/frames perched on the same toilet and tub, as seen here:

This is a guy in Roanoke, VA trying to clean out his Dad's basement. Mostly lower end stuff that I can see, but thought some of you more dedicated C+V 'ers might be interested. Nice guy who's more interested in emptying the basement than making a lot of money.

LOT OF BIKE PARTS from a closed down shop, MAKE AN OFFER!!

He sent me a few pics. Unfortunately the Peugeot in one of the pics isn't for sale

I just picked up a Nashbar Race bike, I posted a couple of photos in the "Catch of the Day" thread. Mine has a "Made in Japan" sticker and it has some really nice little details, I believe it was made by Shogun of Japan. I'd take it for a test ride and, if you like it, offer $150 since it needs hoods and likely a new seat.

Looks pretty cool. Ask to see photos of any stickers on the frame. Probably made in Japan by a large builder. Could be anything from gaspipe to triple-butted Ishawata. Seeing frame decals would help a lot.

If it was close and I had the money I would certainly take good look at it.
