Seems like a great price on an awesome track bike:
Steel Serotta track frame
condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Serotta
size / dimensions: 52cm
I hate to see this one go but it's slightly too small for me. The size is 52cm. Steel serotta track frame, Not drilled. Has shimano rear dropouts and campagnolo fork dropouts. I believe it's got a shimano bottom bracket shell. Takes a 27.2 seat post. 1' threaded headset included along with square taper shimano cartridge bottom bracket.
Very tight geometry. The fork allows the front wheel to sit with just millimeters of clearance between the tire and the downtube. Super short wheelbase and steep head tube angle. This bike is fast and a lot of fun but I would only suggest it to someone who has experience on a real track bike and not an urban fixed gear. As should be expected with a track frame thats so aggressive, theres quite a bit of toe overlap to get used to.
This bike has actually been raced. It was part of the rental fleet at the velodrome in Trexlertown for years but a few years ago they replaced their fleet with more modern bikes. This bike is a joy to ride and it's american made. I am located in east falls but I can also meet in center city or manyunk area. Feel free to call or text me with any questions. Price is for frame, fork, bottom bracket, and headset. Cash only, I will not ship this frame.

Bikes are okay, I guess.

I don't think that's a Pletscher. The Schwinn shop in town (late '70s) used to sell an alloy rattrap rack like that, Schwinn Approved, but I do not know who made it. Instead of clamping to the stays like a Pletscher at the front it had that long metal bracket that went to the seatpost binder bolt. Somebody on here is bound to have installed hundreds of them and can chime in.

Damaged full carbon frame, fork, seatpost, and stem for $75. Guy is not willing to ship or I would buy it. Great deal for someone, or if anyone wants to ship it to me that would be great.

that is a nice frame- I had a K-factor for a while but it was a little too much bike for me. for $75 it might be worth driving all night.

[h=2]Trek 400 Series (circa late 80's) - $99 (Grand Chute, WI)[/h]Trek 400 Series (circa late 80's)
Trek 400 Series bought in the late 80's. Well-used, one toe strap is missing and I lost the key for the rope chain lock. Otherwise tires hold air and everything works well. Make an offer.

Hello, welcome to the forums, and thanks for your vote of confidence. It looks to be 2012 and I think they sold for right around $1300ish so the price doesn't seem too bad. The rear derailleur seems to have been replaced for some reason. It looks like it is in pretty good shape so it fits it looks like an OK deal. Did you see it yet? Does he offer any kind of warranty on labor like a free adjustment after so many days? Looks like he is running a reselling business or coop of sometype. Wouldn't mind taking a walk through there.
Keener splendor
Actually, I'd prefer a road fixed. I'd have to drill the Serotta.

We have a storefront here in Fort Wayne that has bikes stacked and thrown on top of each other to the ceiling without barely room to walk from the front door to the rear, it's so bad you can't even see whats in the stacks. Mostly junky old bikes from the 50's and 60's, but with his shop being so jammed you wouldn't find a gem if you tried.

Your right the cranks are CdA but the brakes have internal springs so C-rec. The RD has the adjustable parallelogram so it is definitely Chorus.
