Info on Miyata 712

Hey all

This is my 1st step from mountain biking to road biking. My friends tell me i'm turning to the darkside. lol anyways I bought a Miyata 712. All i've found about them is from wikipedia:

"Miyata 7xx : A mid- to high-end road bike from the "Semi-Pro" group. Early models had Suntour parts, including an odd 3-wheel rear derailleur. Probably uses the same frameset as the 910."

Came with Campy mirage set up, Wolber hard anodized tires. Any one tell me about these componets. I'm thinking Veloce Upgrade kit when i get the money.

Anything anyone has to say, feel free to anything

Thx

Here's a link to the catalogs that should give you some more info. As far as mass produced bikes go, Miyata made a lot of really good stuff. I know I like mine, but I'm no expert.

The search function here doesn't always work so well, so try this:

Google

Miyata 712 site:bikeforums.net

and 609 results pop up. Tons of info. When you click on a link, you'll see an option down a little ways to "view full version". Click on that.

+1 Search is your friend. Lots of good threads out there. Miyatas are highly respected in general (I have a 712 myself).
