Yes, if you can post a pic and also tell us if there is any sticker on the frame calling out the tubing type, we can have a better idea on what it might be. I hope you are joking when you noted "Fountainebleau" I can't seem to remember such a bike, but it certainly sonds like a "fancy lad" bike name if you ask me ;^). Hope you also don't end up finding out that you have a Swiss thread BB. My PSV is cursed with the BB type and I don't have to many alternatives if the original BB wears out other than buying a very expensive Phil Wood Swiss threaded BB or buy a Swiss fixed cup (by Sugino, most likely, kinda ruins the all French component theme on my bike if I do that) from the very few sellers that still have it at eBay for lots of money, if they even come up.. The type is totally extinct and hard to find parts for. French threading is a little better but not by much. If you have a at least a late 80's peugeot with Reynolds tubing, you will most likely have the more common British threading on your BB (Vitus tubing will most likely have French or Swiss threading).
