Vintage blackburn usa Water Bottle Cage
I have a 1985 Trek 420. It currently has a blackburn usa stainless steel water bottle cage on it. I was searching for a second matching one to put on the seat tube. Does anyone know where one can be found?

Stainless steel? I have a black anodized aluminum Blackburn cage on my 84 Peugeot
which I bought for it back when it was brand new, so we're definitely talking about the same period, but I don't remember them selling a stainless steel version. You sure it's stainless and not clear anodized aluminum?

+1 Every vintage Blackburn cage I have found has been aluminum, including the ones that came stock on a 1983 Trek 620 (with a matching rack) and a 1984 Trek 520.

You know what, it probably is aluminum. I just saw that it wasn't colored and for some reason assumed that. My bad.

You can find them on ebay. I find them on bikes I pick up to flip. I usually replace them with a nice generic bottle holder, unless the bike has a matching rear rack. Then I leave them.

Blackburn still manufactures cages. Stainless steel and aluminum in 4mm and 5mm thickness. Check your LBS. I bought one this Spring for $5.
