I have a German made three speed bike with a chromed steel frame that has that same generator light set-up. The head badge said Arabella, I have never been able to find any info on it either. I converted it to single speed.

I've got nothing, but that looks like a nice middleweight.
What size wheels?
What components and do they have a date code?
DNA testing might find that ancestral to the modern comfort bike.

That twin top tube is neat. The integrated rack is nice, too. Bike was probably not cheap when new.

that is really nice looking bike. yes the twin top tube is really an awsome design. this would be an awsome errand bike with some folding baskets on the side of the rack.

I am pretty sure the Aluline & Arabella ARE German made bikes. Do a search with that name & " fahrrad ".[ bicycle] It will be in German but you can get some translation online.

I found 2 Arabellas on German Ebay, both mixtes. I don't think they are made anymore.
Good luck finding Alu line

I Googled Alu line and found a German company that produces aluminum machined products. Site is in German so don't know exactly what they make. You might contact them to see when they quit making bikes.
Good Luck
