Finally got around to it.........

Being that I haven't had much free time, I finally unpacked and began building it. Actually, it's done, minus the bar tape. The LBS did not have the color I wanted and so I will have to wait till Thursday. Here you go....

Oh yeah.. I needed one brake cable and I guess the LBS forgot to put up the sign: "Grab your Ankles as you walk inn." $7 for just one cable , but I really wanted to get it done before something else came up.

Both LBSs still do not have white bar tape. Is white bar tape not used much now??

very nice beautiful paint and decals. I think everyone uses black now. black frames, forks, components, cable housing, seats, tape, tires, everything is black or carbon colored.

I would consider blue, it might make that little blue swirl on the decals stand out more

What type of white? Cork, vinyl, or cotton? Loose Screws has some nice vinyl which would look period for that Pinarello.

I like the way this one thinks. Blue bar tape would take this from 'beauty' to 'masterpiece.' I found blue cork tape at my LBS. Currently on my red and white 1967 Schwinn Varsity (America! F!#$ yeah!). If you can't find any locally, you may have to order online.

I don't know.....both bike shops had green, neon blue, checkered flag(blk/wht), and all this other hideous colors. The guys behind the counters said that they sold well and both had a few "rolls" of white tape on order but didn't know what kind. I was thinking blue also but we'll see. Im now bent on getting white just because they don't have it.

Wow the paint on that is amazing! I'm totally in love with the little fade details.

Awesome build!

The frame size is 62cm C-t-C with a 59cm TT. It's probably the largest size I can ride comfortably. I hung my MX Leaders "old" 8 Speed Chorus group on it and it rides just silky smooth.

I don't think so as it does not have a decal indicating it. If it's not, it's still a great looking paint job.

Nice bike ! Btw I paid less than that at PBK for a full cable set and housings (I actually bought 10 sets...) People should take advantage of this as it won't last; almost 80% off!

I put this Fizik Microtex in white on my Ferrari-red Nishiki - very classic looking tape and quite comfy and is resisting stain well.

Incredible paint on that Pinny. I've changed my mind: I will take that bike!

That's exactly the type of tape I wanted. This bike is off limits.
