What years did most bikes go from 27" to 700c wheels?

Funny you should mention that. Was just reading some of the early 90's Schwinn catalogs lately and laughed when I read of their decision to go to 27" wheels on Paramounts of the era.

So much faster! They'll save you time on a race!
