Canadian Allegro

It's an older street/touring bike with 27" wheels.

The name is Allegro, the crest is a stylized A, the model is Club Tour

A sticker near the bottom bracket says, "Canadian Design, Japanese Quality"

I've spent a lot of time searching around but have found zilch.

I've put a lot of Kilometres on it and it's valuable to me. I'm changing the gearing to make it more of a touring bike. As I spend more time and money upgrading it I've spent less time dreaming of a new bike.

Its "value", in the sense of what it means to me, is priceless. If it's rare, obscure or unheard of, that increases its worth in my heart.

On the other hand, I would like to know a bit more about it.

All Pro???

Are you absolutely sure it is an Allegro? Could it possibly be an All Pro? That is a brand I am familiar with and one that does little to impress when quality is the issue.
