Nice find at the LBS today

A little unexpected treasure at my LBS today, some NOS Shimano 600 EX levers and hoods. The guy gave em' to me for 10 bucks, now do I want them on the Paramount or the Miyata....hmmm...

I'd go with the Miyata but I'm a Miyata "Cult" Member

Ive just spent about an hour holding them up to the Paramount and the Miyata and I'm definitely leaning towards the Paramount now. This also give me a reason to replace the tape now too, but I think I will wait until winter when I have decided on what freewheel I will be getting as well.

If anyone is interested, there's a NOS Campy NR headset, not sure on the year, at my LBS for 50 dollars. I can fascilitate. The reason it's not on one of my bikes is...it's french threaded, which the shop found AFTER trying to mount it to one of my bikes.

I DID pick up dust caps for my campy black pedals...10 dollars!

We need more than just that. Show more pics. Can you make some for your fellow Bike Forum members? How are they once saturated in sweat?

How about posting a pattern for those of us wishing to try this? Make a DIY thread for the leather hoods.

That's a good deal. If I didn't already have a Stronglight in reserve I'd be tempted. Maybe you should post this in the Craigslist/Ebay finds thread.

If you're interested, I'm currently in the process of making replicas of these hoods for my own bike, but plan to make extras. I'll be posting once I finish them, and I won't be a jerk about the price.
