Japanese to Italian Component Switch
I'm building up my Denti, which came with an 8 speed Dura Ace 7400/02/10 mix group. AFAIK this mixed bag was common to that period of Shimano. Just curious what the comparable Campagnolo group for the era(early 90's) would be. I'm guessing Super Record? Also, if anyone here is interested in a swap that would be great, just PM me. Thanks

Well anything coded "7410" was 1994 to 1997.
The top of the line campy group from this time would be 8 speed record with ergo levers.
They stopped making super record in 1987. Corsa record was introduced prior to the demise of super record and was above it in the pecking order for a short while.

C Record.. used from '88 (not all) through 1991(92) just prior to Ergo. Later in '93 was ergo. Interchangeability is not a problem in any case with Campy on Campy. Having English threading in your bike frame BB shell & bracket itself, you need to get such threading; length of bracket brg (width) needs to suit .. rather that over explain it...but it's doable.
Ergo Record, Chorus and others (Veloce etc.) are the brifters
Super Record was earlier (reintroduced just recently in name only)
Record, Chorus , Athena.. all '88 to 92 will do best if you want DT shifting.

It's Italian threaded, so no worries, I'm going to keep with the DT shifters, so no Ergo. I'll check Velobase for the C Record(is this the same as the Corsa Record?)/Record info. Thanks
