Chrome Paramount Math (more pictures + Gommitalia tires)

A pair of Rigida 700C's w/Campagnolo hubs plus two strips of Velox tape, a pair of Gommitalia Targa tires, and a pair of tubes...

...equals this:

Popped into Business Cycles today and picked up what I needed to get rubber on these rims (with exception to the tubes, which I had). These Gommitalias look beautiful, but fit tighter then anything I've ever seen - I ended up having to spot-true both rims after working the last part of the bead over it. Then again, what else can you expect from soft Rigidas?

I dare say they look the part, though. Classic, understated, and high pressure. Just what it needed.

$35/ea from John at Business Cycles (though I'm not aware as to whether that was a local price or not). Figure in rim strips and tubes, and you're in about $90-100 for one bike.
