    Fuji Grand Tourer SE Question

The front derailleur on this bike was the sort that when you release cable tension, the shift moves up to the big ring using the spring tension to do so. My question is how to position the derailleur on the seat post, that is, what should the proximity to the chainring be?

I have read the Park set up. Does that mean that I need to tension the cable til the outer cage is lined up with the chainring as a starting point? With zero tension, its centered over the big ring.
