Yes, your # (which is quest. to me) and its being an 8sp. Brk.Lev.Shft. supports '95 or newer, not much newer. If you paid les than $200, you did ok, less than $100, it's a gift. Shifter sets alone sell for over a hundred used; then there's......well ... everything else. It is considered about mid-level, enthusiast as often called.

Put about 10 quick miles on her today, wind is kicking down here in florida from the storm so that was enough. funny it felt quicker than my specialized allez elite.

not a paramount, but I dunno what the model is, exactly. Schwinn made a series of road bikes identified by numbers, and I think that this is one of them. The thing really does look good, and was way undervalued at $100.

Thanks for the help. I'll assume its a 95 supersport. search on line showed components match except this is 8 spd. cassette instead of 7 spd listed as original. And diferent handlebars. Discription also said bike was clearcoated should I clearcoat it again (no I dont get a kick out of polishing). also there was reference on another site about the rough welds is this specific to this year or era?

discription also said
