I think if they've got a 14x1.25 or something similar on the spindles c'est Francais.

Damn! Haha. I'll have to look closer and see if it has that on the spindle. I was hoping to use them on another bike, oh well.

You can also look for 'G' and 'D' markings on the visible ends of the spindles instead of 'L' and 'R'. If they do turn out to be French threaded you might be able to just swap the spindles out. Or I might have some very similar pedals I could trade for them, PM me if you're interested.

Pedals seem like a silly thing to be picky about, but I really like these old pedals. The only new ones I find that I like are the MKS Touring Pedals and well, I'm cheap!
