has anyone put up the schwinn light weight catalogs from the 1960s and 1970s in a new place that used to be hosted on geocities (bob huffard's i believe)? these were always a great reference, but i haven't found a replacement yet.

I've looked plenty, no go. They pulled them off the web.

I just wanted to see what options were available for the P-15 Paramounts and compare it with mine, such as Weinmann brakes and the Suntour VGT-luxe RD. I'm putting some money into it this winter so I just want to see what came stock with it...

Scooper if you can email that to me I would greatly appreciate it jish1969@yahoo.com

The P15-9 options wouldn't have been in the consumer catalog, but would have been in the 1970 Paramount catalog, which I don't believe Bob Hufford had on the SLDB. He did have the dealer specs for the 1970 P15-9, though:

The 1971 Paramount catalog was also on the SLDB, and had a list of the options. I've emailed you the P13-9 and P15-9 pages from the '71 catalog.

Wow! Just checked out the 1970 Varsity catalog page! My dad bought me one for Christmas that year. It was a sky blue one with fenders and a speedometer. It came to about $100 in total as I remember. The prices were all there on the catalog page. I sold it in 1975 for $50. The bike was indestructable.
